Crystal Gardens wedding in Southgate MI…
I had an absolute great time getting ready for Stephanie & Korey’s Crystal Gardens wedding. We were having fun, walking around getting some pre-wedding shots at the DIA and other locations in downtown Detroit, when they decided to make a detour at the Garden City Fire Department since Korey is a paramedic.
Luckily, the fire department let us get some really fun photos! But we had to be prepared because if an emergency came through, we were to get out of their way, quick! (Don’t be alarmed at the photo with the ‘IV’ in Stephanie’s arm! She was okay, just dehydrated, and handled it like a champ.)
Heading out for sunset shots in Wyandotte…
Korey & Stephanie were so easy-going to work with. At the reception, one thing Stephanie did was insist on was getting some night shots by the water. Problem was, the reception hall is nowhere close to the water, but she really had a vision for these photos. She even told me she wouldn’t mind leaving the party to do so! So we looked at the sunset times for her date & made our way down to Bishop Park in Wyandotte.
Turns out we got so many gorgeous night shots of the couple by the water, and I couldn’t be more glad we did. What an adventure, and a fun time had by all. Many happy wishes for Stephanie & Korey’s future!
We can’t wait for our next Crystal Gardens wedding!
