Getting Ready and first Look…
We had big fun with Robert & Shawna on their wedding! They were very special to all of us at Special Moments. The wedding took place at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer Birmingham with a reception at Indianwood Lake Orion. We started out at the house for some getting ready photos. Everyone was in a wonderful mood. The plan was to get some getting ready shots then do a first reveal of the bride to the groom. The area around the home was fantastic for shots of the two of them and their friends. We took about 30-40 minutes with them before we went to the church.
The Service and Around Town…
We wasted no time when everyone got to the church. With the guests already seated the procession got underway. What a beautiful wedding it was. After the service they took a few family shots then took off around Royal Oak for some fun. The Royal Oak Theater put up a message for the couple on the marquise. What great move!
Reception…
Indianwood is a great spot for a wedding. After introductions into the room the best man and the maid of honor spoke some very kind words about the couple during their respective toasts. It was kind of unique for us to photograph an event up to the dinner and cake cutting but that is the beauty of the Sweet & Simple Packages. You can customize your coverage as you like. It was a great day and a lot of fun to be with them. We wish them all the very best in their new life together.
