Some thoughts on this wedding album design…
Sean and Megan’s wedding took place at Stonebridge Course & Golf Club in Ann Arbor Michigan. It was a beautiful fall day when the families gathered for this very special celebration. This is an album design in our Fine Art Classic style. The Fine Art classic style has elements of color and differs from the coffee table album by not having a lot of image overlays. It is very clean and elegant.
The color swatches in the design are generally picked up from the color elements in the bride and groom’s wedding. For example we can sample colors from the bridesmaids dresses or the roses in the bride’s bouquet or other important color elements the client is working with.
A bit about this wedding day…
We started off our coverage in the dressing room upstairs at Stonebridge. We met up with Megan and her two bridesmaids for a little bit as the group got ready for the service. Sean was downstairs in the locker room with his guys. As we got closer to the service, the excitement level began to rise. They did not see each other before the wedding but we managed to get some really nice shots of the groups beforehand. The wedding album is a collection of the highlights from the day.
It is not by any means the full proof set. Clients will pick their favorite images from the wedding to tell the story in a concise and elegant timeline of the day. After the service we took a few family shots. We find that the album often reflects a lot more family shots in some layouts. It is always interesting to see what the clients will choose for their wedding design.
On with the party…
We went around the grounds for some beautiful pictures of the couple. They selected a few key ones here. As you can see, they had a beautiful setup in their room with some beautiful color contrasts in their selection. They came into the room and immediately had their first dance. They cut their cake and enjoyed a couple of very beautiful toasts by the maid of honor and the best man. Dinner was served and the evening was well underway.
Later in the night we went outside for some beautiful night shots. A few of those made it to the final album. We hope you enjoy this Fine Art Classic layout, it is the most popular just after the Coffee Table design.
