The Plan…
We had a great time photographing for Michael & Patricia at their Greenmead Church in Livonia MI wedding. There was a big wedding planned but with the Covid-19 outbreak we downsized and they held a micro wedding in the chapel at Greenmead Historic Village and Church. The bride and groom and their children along with just a few family members made up the guest list.
Some Restrictions…
With only a few guests there and the protections of the Covid-19 state rules, everyone seemed respectful of Greenmead Church requirements. Greenmead chapel and property is owned by the city of Livonia and therefore is under city government rules.
The service was beautiful and very intimate. The children took their part by reading and each helped build a sand remembrance. When it was done the sand sculpture was beautiful. A side note, I saw one of the guests very carefully carrying it to the car in an effort to not disturb the beautiful design the family had created. After the service the family came out for some family photos then dispersed.
Family Photos…
The bride and groom stayed back for a couple of photos and we walked around the grounds at Greenmead for some gorgeous outdoor pictures. We walked around and stayed about a half an hour. These highlights of this micro wedding are some of our favorites. We hope you enjoy the images and let us know how we can help you photograph your micro wedding. All the best to the couple and all the best to Greenmead Chapel, as usual they did a great job!
We can’t wait for our next old church wedding!
