Some thoughts on this wedding…
When we get the call for a destination wedding and it is in the Florida Keys, you know we are all over that idea! Nana called us and gave us the run down on how she wanted things to happen. They were planning a local reception at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester for family in the area, and then going down to the Keys to tie the knot. I jumped a plane to Miami and then took a shuttle down the coast to Key Largo.
I sat up front and the driver told stories the whole way. Mid afternoon I met up with Nana & Alex and we walked around and we got our game plan together. There were lots of beautiful spots around the property that would work and we decided to meet up around sunset for some shots that night. The sunsets in the Keys are some of the best I have ever seen and you can see why some of the great authors came here to write.
The next day we met up for the wedding, it was going to happen out on the beach. It was a perfect day and there was a light breeze blowing in. The wedding went off without a hitch and then we walked around the property getting some great shots! Then took the afternoon off. We met up again that evening for some additional sunset shots in her dress. What a wedding, it was intimate and so beautiful! Thanks for letting us capture these moments for you, we know you will enjoy these memories all your lives.
We can’t wait for our next Key Largo Bay Marriott Beach Resort wedding!
