An Overview…
We had a wonderful wedding for Molly and Daniel at Christ the King Catholic Church in Ann Arbor. The reception was held at Polo Fields of Ann Arbor. We started out at the church for some getting ready pictures. It was an absolutely beautiful church that we have not seen before. We have been to a lot of places around the city and it is fun to find new spots to work in.
The Service…
The service was a traditional Catholic Mass and the priest clearly knew the family. The smiles on the faces of the couple and their families were so beautiful and fun to see. After the wedding vows, we took some family photos at the church and a few gorgeous shots of the couple inside. We then took off for the Law Quad in downtown Ann Arbor.
At the Law Quad Ann Arbor…
The Law Quad of Ann Arbor has been one of our favorite spots to photograph over the years. The beautiful stone work on the buildings and the big old oak trees make for some gorgeous spots to photograph. It works well because it’s generally a rain or shine location. This means that even on rainy days, we can get some really nice pictures under the canopies.
The Party…
The reception took place at Polo Fields of Ann Arbor. It’s a beautiful golf course and banquet facility. We have known the owners for many years and are glad to be a part of their preferred vendor list. The party got underway and introductions took place. Dinner was served and some very meaningful toasts were shared for the bride and groom. We heard the telling of some wonderful memories shared with friends. The couple took the dance floor for their first dance and the night was underway. Later on we went out for some gorgeous night shots on the golf course.
