Stonebridge Golf Club fall wedding…
This was a really fun wedding from the fall. We met up with the bride in the dressing room at Stonebridge Golf Club in Ann Arbor for some getting ready photos. Her bridesmaids were super helpful in coordinating things before the service. It is a fabulous feeling to walk into an event and have everybody on the same page and pulling in the same direction for the bride and groom.
The dressing room at Stonebridge is a beautiful space with skylights casting a gorgeous glow into the room. Our day was second to none. The weather was almost perfect for an outdoor wedding. We managed to get a few pictures of the Bride and a couple of the groom before the service started but they were very careful not to see one another before the service. As guests started arriving we scrambled to get the bride out of sight and turned our attention to a few detail shots.
The service at the gazebo overlooking the golf course…
One of my favorite shots is of the groom seeing his wife-to-be coming down the aisle. The emotion on his face is priceless. They have known each other for a long time and this was a very special moment that everyone was glad to see finally come around. After the service we did a few family shots before the couple was introduced into the room. They immediately made their way over to the cake table to share that moment and their first dance.
It’s fun to see people get the first dance underway right out of the gate. It kind of opens up the room and sets the tone for a festive evening. After dinner and some heartfelt toasts the bride and groom danced with family and the dance floor was wide open for a great party.
Heading out for some sunset shots…
Megan and Sean had made a point to us that they wanted to do some sunset photos, so when the sky was just right, we headed outside for some beautiful shots on the golf course. Everyone inside the party kept the dance floor live while we stepped out for a little bit. It was such a fun night and such a fun group of people to be around. We had an absolute ball and hope you enjoy looking back with us over this fun wedding!
