In the beginning…
Lisa & Michael’s Holy Family Catholic Wedding in Detroit MI then off to the Italian American Club Livonia MI for the wedding Reception. It was a fun phone call to take from a Lisa when she told us she had attended a wedding of some very good friends, Angela & Dino a couple of years ago and wanted us to photograph her wedding. Lisa was great to work with on the planning of her wedding, she was organized and put a lot of thought and planning into her wedding at the Italian American Club in Livonia.
The Service…
We met at Holy Family Catholic church for some photos and getting ready. The service was so beautiful. This is one of my favorite churches in the city. After taking a few family photos we took off out into the city. We got down to the river and then to Comerica Park. We also made a stop at their childhood church of St. Agatha Catholic Church Redford. They had both been members at St. Agatha Church in Redford so this was important to make a stop over for some photos. I was fun to see them reminisced a bit about fun times as children there. We had a great time shooting the wedding and going around the city to get some great looks at the city.
The Party…
The Italian American Club in Livonia was set up so well when we arrived. This a beautiful place for a wedding reception. The introductions were made, toasts followed and the party began. They danced and played into the night. Later we took a few night shots outside in the moonlight.
