A party to remember at the M1…
Laura and Mark got married on a beautiful afternoon at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac Michigan. Even though there was a little rain from time to time it made everything shiny. The light glistened with the water reflecting off the water droplets. As you might guess they are both bodybuilders so they showed it off that day. It was a lot of fun to photograph the couple at this very unique location.
A Little History on the M1 Concourse…
The M1 Concourse is situated on an old General Motors property that was decommissioned in 2008. It was redeveloped into a private racetrack and garage facility for those that wanted to have a place to run their cars. This particular garage was owned by a close friend of the family who offered it to the couple for their wedding and reception.
This garage space has two levels, one at ground level for the storage of the vehicle and another space upstairs for socializing. I can only imagine that there have been some fabulous parties thrown here, not the least of which was this one!

You will have to know someone with a space here that will allow you to have your event, it is not open to the public except for some special events.
