Let me begin by telling you how much I love winter weddings, and to shoot for Katie & Mike was an absolute delight! We all met up at the Toledo Club to get ready for the wedding. The ladies looked great and were all in good spirits. We took off for St. Patrick Historic Catholic Church to meet up with the men and some shots of them.
The church was decorated for Christmas and looked fantastic! It is one of the most beautiful churches to start with, but add the splendor of Christmas and the mood in the air and you have one of the most special weddings I have ever seen. After the mass we all took off for The Toledo Club and the wedding reception. The Toledo Club is a one of a kind–the rich deep tones and dark woods make for a lush environment to host a party and the fact that this was almost New Years Eve didn’t hurt!
They partied and played all night then went up on the roof for some shots overlooking the city in a deep fog. What a night to remember and I will always look back on it with warm feelings of how much fun we all had. Good luck in your marriage and may you have many happy years together.
We can’t wait for our next Toledo Club wedding!
