The Wedding…
Before the party at Zingerman’s Greyline, Jamie and Craig’s wedding started out at Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor. We got a few getting ready pictures but we’re not hired for much. It wasn’t nearly as important as the rest of the day would be to the bride and groom. A great choice in our opinion, they chose a package that covered parts of the day that were most important to them. The wedding ceremony was set up in the gardens just south of the greenhouse. It’s a beautiful open lawn surrounded by gorgeous flower beds.
Jamie came down the aisle and all eyes were upon her. What a beautiful ceremony and meaningful vows. Writing your own vows it’s probably one of the most sincere expressions of love. We did a few family shots and then headed into Ann Arbor for some photos at the big house. After a brief stop there the bride and groom made another stop at the law quad in Ann Arbor. It’s one of our favorite stops. The flowers were in full bloom.
Zingerman’s Greyline & The Blind Pig…
This was a very unusual wedding in the sense that there were two receptions on the same day. The first was held at Zingerman’s Greyline in downtown Ann Arbor. It is the old bus station. Zingerman’s does an amazing job and has transformed this place from what it was into something absolutely perfect for a wedding party. Who had this vision at Zingerman’s, we don’t know but what an amazing mind to be able to see the potential of this space.
The guests enjoyed a beautiful meal and dancing ensued. The couple invited everyone then over to the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor. The Blind Pig is a great music club in downtown Ann Arbor and a real classic. The party was on and those that wanted to join the couple for more fun and dancing we’re invited to join in. The band played, the bride and groom even got on the stage for a couple of numbers.
It was a spectacular day all around. We wish them the best in all they do. What a fun couple and a great group of people to be around. Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day, hope to see you again soon.
We can’t wait for our next Zingerman’s Greyline wedding!
