A Very Special Post for Jamie & Conor for their Majestic Theater wedding in Detroit MI.
Getting Ready…
We met up at the Greek Town Casino Hotel for our getting ready shots. It was big fun to meet the family and get some shots as things were taking shape. We would spend some time here then I took off to meet up with Conor for a couple of shots of him and his parents in the streets along Woodward Avenue.
The Service…
The wedding service took place up on stage at The Majestic Theater. The chuppah was prepared and in place while everyone was seated on the main floor. The bride came in and the ceremony was underway. The lights were gorgeous in the room. I loved listening to the service as I photographed the events. After the service we took a few family shots as cocktails & hors d’oeuvres were served.
The Party…
The room was set for the party and then it got underway. A wedding reception at the Majestic was so interesting! It was so much fun to be around this crowd to celebrate with them. They danced and played for hours. Later in the evening I took the couple outside for a few night shots around the property. The staff gave the couple a bowling lane and they rolled a couple of them down the lane. We also went upstairs in the cafe area and took up a spot in a booth. I went outside on the street and shot back through the window for one of my favorite shots of the day.
