We met up at the house for some getting ready photos, everyone was in high spirits and ready to go. Â The wedding was going to be at Sweetest Heart of Mary in Detroit. Â I remember the first time I laid eyes on this gorgeous church… I could not wait to get back there to photograph this wedding for Coleen & Nicolas. Â We had a lot of fun shooting the photos and got some really pretty stuff at the church. Â
The Party…
We had a great time at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial for the party. One of the things that stood out most at the party was the night shots.  It was a hot night and I went outside for a breath of fresh air.  I was looking across the fountain and visualized them standing on the other side with a low camera angle.  It was one of the prettiest shots I took all summer.  In fact, it is one of my all time favorite night shots.  The water was perfectly calm and the night glow was breathtaking.
We wish Nicolas & Coleen a wonderful marriage and will look forward to seeing what they pick for their wedding album layout.
We can’t wait for our next Sweetest Heart of Mary wedding!
