FIRST Half of the day
A retrospective on a beautiful Barat Ceremony at the Dearborn Inn…
So this is the first half of the day, we decided to divide this blog post up into two pieces because of the quantity of images and the sequence of the day. This is covering the Barat Ceremony. Normally this is done on horse back but not today, the groom came in on foot. We arrived at the Dearborn Inn early in the morning for detail shots and getting ready pictures.
As the groom made his approach in the Barat Ceremony, there’s a beautiful series of pictures of the Bride watching out the window that are just striking. The festivities around the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time is one of our favorite parts of covering a Hindu wedding.
The celebrations around this part of the day we’re worthy of its own focus post. The Hindu Barat is known for its festivity and splendor. We hope you enjoy this post. Day two is to follow in this retrospective.
