A fantastic wedding service at Crosspointe Christian in Grosse Pointe Woods.
This wedding was held for Amy and Alexander at Crosspointe Christian Church in Grosse Pointe Woods. The reception was held at barrister gardens in St Clair Shores. One photographer started out at the church for some pictures of the Bride getting ready, while the other photographer started out at the groom’s home taking pictures of them getting ready for the service. It’s a beautiful church and one that we had not been to in a couple of years.
This is a long time Church of the groom and his family so the pastor knew a lot about the couple. It was a beautiful service. Afterwards, we took about 20 minutes to get the family photos before we left the church.
Off to the park in St. Clair Shores.
We made a stop at Blossom Heath in St Clair Shores for some photos in the park outside. It was a gorgeous fall day with the leaves already off the trees. I think we spent about 20 minutes in the park before we made our way over to Barrister Gardens.
A night to remember at Barrister Gardens in St. Clair Shores.
The Father of the Bride made one of the best toasts we’ve seen in some time. He used some funny cue cards to hold up for the guests to see the backside while he read from the front. It was absolutely hilarious and took quite a bit of thought to pull together. A really fun group in my opinion, and they were all in great spirits.
After dinner the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance and then the dance floor opened up to a very enthusiastic and energetic crowd. When the light was right, we went outside for a few night shots that turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. It was a wonderful wedding and we hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed taking them.
