What a stellar wedding! Elizabeth looked so beautiful and could not have been happier. As she got ready with the ladies at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial there was a feeling in the air of joy and anticipation. When her father came in the room and saw Elizabeth for the first time you could just feel the emotion flowing.
Eli and the men walked around the Grosse Pointe War Memorial before the wedding and I took some shots with them and then tucked away and waited for the wedding. The back steps of the GPWM is a spectacular spot for a wedding ceremony. A cool breeze came off the lake while the guests watched Elizabeth & Eli exchange their vows. After the service we took the couple around the grounds for some fun and more personal shots to remember the day by. I just love the feeling we got from these photos!
Being introduced for the first time in public as Mr. & Mrs. Boike must have been such a thrill for them. The night was full of fun and friendship celebrating the love between the couple and their families. The party raged on with dancing and celebrating till the wee hours!
We wish them the very best in their new life together and cannot wait to see what they choose for their wedding album photos.
We can’t wait for our next Grosse Pointe War Memorial wedding!
