Dearborn Inn wedding…
The day started out early with us getting ready on the upper East Side and at Mary Ann’s childhood home. For the most part this was a Dearborn Inn wedding but we started off at the home. I got to meet and talk to the family while Mary was getting ready. What a lovely day, it struck me how close her family was and how much everyone cared and was concerned for the success of the day for Mary’s sake.
After a bit, we took off for Martha-Mary Chapel in Dearborn and met up with René and the guys. The wedding came off without a hitch. The weather was great and everyone in the room was smiling from ear to ear for the two of them.
Family Photos at the Dearborn Inn…
After the wedding, we stayed for a short while in the chapel and worked through some family photos. While most of the guests took off for cocktails at the Dearborn Inn, the immediate family met up in front of the train station in the village to try and replicate a photo taken in the early 1900’s of the family in a Model T Ford at a wedding in Texas. It was a success and so much fun!
Lunch Reception at the Inn…
After the luncheon, at the Dearborn Inn, we took off for downtown Detroit for another dimension to our wedding photos. The DIA was a great spot for some of the pretty shots.
